Voices of the past bring history to life for Pacific students

Students relive history during recent campus visit by Jonathan Moscone, son of late San Francisco mayor George Moscone as part of the production of a documentary film of his life

John Moscone visits Pacific

Faculty and graduate students are working on a documentary film about alumnus George Moscone ’53, the late Mayor of San Francisco who was tragically assassinated in 1978 along with Harvey Milk. His son Jonathan Moscone visited the Stockton campus Feb. 6 to speak with students, along with the film's writer, Steven Talbot. KCRA news was there for this story.

Later that afternoon, alumni Ron Leineke and Janet Delevan who were Pacific students at the same time as Moscone were interviewed for the documentary. Find out more about the making of the documentary in this news story: Pacific students dig into research George Moscone '53
